The Multitasking Luxury Lip Balm You Need On Your Lips & Vanity

emile cordon luxury lip balm, emile cordon cashmere on lip pots,

Lip balm is one of my desert island products. If I had to give up everything else, I could. But I can’t be without lip balm. And I’m always curious to try new ones so while I have some firm favourites, sometimes I will come across a new lip balm that blows me away. And Emile Cordon Cashmere-On Lip Pots are just such a product. I was gifted one of these pots of precious lip balm by my lovely friend and I was also sent a couple more by the brand all the way from across the ocean. And let me tell you, they’re so much more than just a fancy lip balm...

As you can see from the packaging alone these lip balms have been designed to make a regal statement. Housed in heavy glass jars and topped with a golden crown, they are a touch of luxury for your lips as well as your dressing table. And the formula makes sure to impress too. These are not your usual petrolatum based balms with a little added scent. They are formulated with natural ingredients including evening primrose and Vitamin E which help to hydrate the lips, making them instantly softer with a beautiful glossy appearance that doesn’t feel heavy or sticky on the lips. I feel super luxe and special when I use these and they’ve become a sort of uplifting treat that I look forward to applying throughout the day.

The scents are incredibly unique and beautiful and I don’t think I can choose a favourite between them. No.29 Dorine is scented with neroli and lemon leaves. No.43 Pamela* has notes of Mediterranean fig & brown sugar. And if I was pushed, and I mean really pushed, to pick one from the bunch my vote goes to No.72 Coco* is made up white coconut cake, vanilla and icing sugar. And yes, it does smell as delicious as it sounds.

The best thing about these luxurious balms is that they do much more than just make my lips appear more plump. You can use these to soothe irritated skin or on a healing scar to protect the area. The balms helps to soften and nourish cuticles. You can apply these before liquid lipsticks to make them more comfortable on the lips or over any matte lipstick for a beautiful glossy finish. And my favourite use which is to lightly pat some onto the high points of my cheeks for a natural and youthful looking glisten. A little goes a long way with these which is reassuring considering their high end price tag. They come with their own little spatulas too so you don’t have to worry about contaminating the whole jar when using them in so many ways.

You get 16.5g of product in each jar, all presented in a gorgeous cream and gold embossed box. They cost $42 each and I think they would make a perfect little gift to present to someone you know that would appreciate the feeling of a little luxury throughout their day. Or a treat for yourself because I can’t imagine anyone saying no to one or a few of these to wake up to on their dressing table each morning. These are made in the USA and the company is based there and thankfully they ship internationally so you can treat yourself or someone you love with confidence.
