nudestix nudies review, multipurpose makeup, best multipurpose makeup sticks

nudestix nudies all over face color review, nudestix nudies all over face colour glow and matte

I’m a huge fan of cream makeup products. I also love makeup multitaskers. And I’m absolutely obsessed with barely there makeup looks and products that enhance without being detectable. Enter: NudeStix Nudies - this duo seem to have all that covered. Nudies are my first dabble into the capsule collection by NudeStix who have a whole range of convenient, multipurpose makeup crayons for easy brush-free makeup for a polished and natural looking finish. I’ve been playing around with this duo and I think they deserve a spot in my everyday makeup bag because they are so good.

NudeStix All Over Face Colour Matte - Deep Maple, Eh?* | £32

I love multipurpose products like this that can be applied on the eyes, cheeks and lips for some quick colour. The formula of this is perfect for all three purposes as it’s creamy without being too soft, so it doesn’t crease on my eye lids, but stays put on my eyes and cheeks for a long time. The formula also makes for a comfortable lipstick and is just pigmented enough to cover my lips, hyperpigmentation and all. I love that the same product appears matte on the eyes and cheeks but has a slight sheen on the lips. The shade is so perfect for me as it’s a warm brown which I am so into these days. It makes for that perfect nude wash of colour on my eyes so no need for a separate crease shade or anything. On the cheeks it’s a blusher and bronzer shade all in one. I much prefer my fingers to apply and blend the product but it’s nice to have the detachable stippling brush on the other end there just in case of any over-application or blending emergency.

NudeStix Nudies All Over Face Colour Glow - Hey, Honey* | £32

I tend to struggle with these kind of stick highlighters as I’m yet to find one that applies directly onto my face without moving any makeup around. I still use them and love them though and this one is a great product for when I want that glowing finish, I don’t want to look made up and I don’t have much time. I take some on my fingertips and pat it where I want it. And with this one I love using the small densely packed stippling brush on the other end to just lighting diffuse the edges so it appears seamless with my other makeup. It can be used on the eyelids to add a subtle glossy sheen or on the lips if you like a metallic finishing touch to your lipstick. I like using this on my no-makeup days because the soft champagne gold is irresistibly beautiful. Again this formula works very well at appearing fresh and luminous, feeling weightless on the skin and lasting well throughout the day. For a more intense glow you can easily pat on more product or layer a powder highlighter on top and it makes it pop.
