Happy New Year everyone!

As I look back through my empties posts over the last year, I am amazed at how much I’ve managed to get through. It’s been a journey and it’s been well worth it. Over the last 12 months lots of you have been astounded that I was able to use up so much each month and all it comes down to is changing my habits alongside having a different mind-set about my obsession with products. I was able to let go of some of my hoarding habits and actually use up the products I have in my possession. And here I present my final empties post showcasing the products I finished right up to the end of 2017...

Klairs Supple Preparation Facial Toner
I feel like I mention this toner so much that you must all be bored of readings about it. I just gave my sister a bottle to try and I have high hopes that she will love it just as much as I do.

Lucy Annabella Luxury Treatment Oil - Uplifting
These oils have kept my skin from flaking right off this winter. They’re lush and rich but absorb really well meaning they’re not super greasy or slippery but keep the skin well nourished. I’m currently using the Adore - patchouli & ylang ylang one and it’s just as good as this one, if not a touch better.

Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Gel Mini
A silky smooth hydrating serum. Non-gloopy. Non-sticky. Great formulation and works a treat under makeup.

DHC Liquid Eyeliner EX*
Dupe for the brush end of the Tom Ford that I may have mentioned a few times here already ;) Have repurchased 2 more pens because it’s that amazing.

Yuripibu Cucu Maronza Black Truffle Cream
A deliciously rich cream that isn’t greasy or heavy or sticky or prone to pilling. Used this day and night because it’s so luxurious. Lightly scented. Highly moisturising and if you can get your hands on it, I highly recommend.

Hylamide SubQ Eyes
I’ve been banging on about this a lot recently. I use it day and night, with or without a subsequent eye cream. Hydrating and lightly tightening.

The Ordinary Advanced Retinoid
Loved every drop. I’m trying out some of their other Retinoid/Retinols now but would happily use this again as a maintenance product. Best way to start incorporating a Retinoid.

Superdrug Naturally Radiant Hot Cloth Cleanser
Another tube of this polished off. A great affordable cleanser that lightly exfoliates the skin’s surface, nourishes the skin and perfect both in the morning or as an evening second cleanse.

I also used up: Nuxe Huile Prodigiuese, Being By Sanctuary Spa Hibiscus & Coconut Water Body Lotion*

THE ONES I MIGHT REPURCHASE (possibly if they go on sale)

Mahogany Naturals Soothing Cleansing Oil*
Love the oil. Love the scent. Not good for makeup removal for me as it doesn’t emulsify as I’d like but a glorious second cleanse, nourishing morning cleanser or for face massage.

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Spray
That beautiful sugar crush scent that I love which doesn’t linger for very long on skin or body. So I use it as a room spray and it’s delightful.

Mio Skincare Future Proof Firming Active Body Butter*
Rich. Thick. Heavy duty moisturiser. Perfect on my scaly winter dry legs.

Klairs Freshly Juiced Vitamin C Serum
I’ve spoken about this before but just wanted to note that I was shocked to learn this isn’t glass packaging. It’s actually a thick plastic and I only realised after I finished the whole thing. Haha!

Mizon Peptide 500 Serum
Lightweight, hydrating and dries down very quickly. Can’t identify any specific results but good as a means to prevent further signs of ageing.

Murad Essential-C Day Moisturiser
I was shocked I enjoyed this sample as much as I did. It has a whiteness about it as you work it into the skin probably from the SPF but it left my skin hydrated, smooth and glowing.

Illamasqua Hydra Veil Primer
A good primer for winter when my skin is most dehydrated and in need of all the hydration help it can get.

Moroccanoil Treatment Argan Oil
A beautiful hair oil that makes my hair softer, shinier and smell beautiful. I hate the fact that there’s no pump so I don’t think I could pay the full price for it.

Grow Gorgeous Full Bodied Shampoo*
The only volumising Shampoo that actually does something for my hair and doesn’t dry it out like crazy.

I also used up: Burts Bees Coconut Foot Cream, Mizon Sheet Mask

Olivia Blake Praline & Rose Crystal Candle
Gorgeous scent. Didn’t carry through larger rooms at all.

Elizavecca Witchy Piggy Hell Pore Control Hyaluronic Acid 97% Serum
Sticky. Gloopy. Not hydrating enough for me for me to want to put myself through such gloopiness and stickiness again.

Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel
An okay cleanser, slightly foaming. Has a strange scent that I could never get along with.

Elemental Herbology Facial Detox Purifying Mask
Good at extracting the gunk and excess sebum but a little too drying for my liking. I had to add oil to make it useable for me.

I also used up: Garnier Hand Cream

If you'd like to see everything I've used up in 2017 feel free to have a read of any/all of these:
