A Few Hair & Body Bits I'm Loving

child's farm shampoo and conditioner review, grow gorgeous hair growth serum, lucy annabella special treatment oil adore, macadamia oil hair treatment review, rituals Himalayan salt body scrub,

While I do use many different products on my hair and body, I definitely look after my hair less than my body and my body way less than my face so it’s nice to take a moment for those products that are there for me to help keep the rest of me going despite the obvious discrimination they fall victim to. So here’s a few bits that I’m using on my body and hair, during and after showering that I’m really enjoying.

Child's Farm Shampoo | £3.99 & Child's Farm Conditioner | £3.99

I got these for my girls and I’m so impressed with how soft and luscious these two leave their hair. My daughters all have different types of hair too - one has a medium amount of long curly hair, the other super thick straight hair and lots of it, and the other has very little unruly hair that is very fine. So it’s nice that these work on all of them, keeping their hair looking healthy, their scalps hydrated and best of all this duo smells delicious. I couldn’t help myself and have used them a couple of times too and they are lush. The whole range of products from this brand is amazing, suitable for even eczema-prone skin, and formulated with natural ingredients. We’ve tried nearly all of it now and even the baby moisturiser is gorgeous and silky on my scaly legs. Definitely one to look out for at Boots or Superdrug if you end up near the baby section.

Grow Gorgeous Serum Intense* | £45

I feel like I’ve suffered with fragile hair and hair loss for most of my life now. So I’m so happy to be using this serum which promises to strengthen hair and make it look fuller and thicker. You only need to use 20 drops and massage it into your scalp and of course results will be better if you use it daily. I find myself forgetting some days but I’m trying to be consistent with it. I’m optimistic that I’ll be seeing some notable differences soon. It helps that the product is so pleasurable to use - it has a lovely fresh scent, is very light-weight and not at all greasy, which would be a big no no for my greasy scalp. I’m just loving having a serum for my hair the way I do for my face. I feel like I’m giving it that extra care and attention it needs.

Macadamia Natural Oil Healing Oil Treatment* | £28.99

This oil has been working wonders on my thin and frizzy hair. It is an omega rich formula that helps to keep my hair hydrated and looking healthy and shiny. It has that gloopy texture but it’s not as thick as other oils like this that I’ve tried and is alcohol-free which helps it be so effective on my hair. It smells absolutely gorgeous and comes with a convenient pump so you can never squeeze out too much. I apply it my hair while it’s damp and it just makes my hair so much more manageable.

Rituals Himalaya Scrub (Now called The Ritual Of Ayurveda Body Scrub) | £19.50

Black Friday sales. Me. Rituals website. Trust me when I say you’ll be seeing a lot more from Rituals on my blog over the next year. This body scrub smells absolutely divine. Alongside a very subtle hint of rose it has a gourmet sweetness to it and something else completely heavenly that I can’t even describe. It is made with Himalayan Salt Crystals and is blended with some beautiful oils for an uplifting body scrubbing experience. I would say this lies in between a very gentle and a very harsh scrub as it is effective but not painful plus the amount of moisturising and soothing oils really feels nourishing. It leaves my skin looking brighter and more radiant, and incredibly soft. You probably don’t even have to moisturise after using this although I do.

Lucy Annabella Organic Treatment Oil - Adore | £42 (only £12.99 here)

These Lucy Annabella oils have been my skin saviours this winter. This one has a very delicate floral scent that is so soothing to the senses. A blend of argan, avocado, apricot, sesame and soya bean oils give it a luscious thick texture whilst being great for properly moisturising and repairing skin. It has a blend of essential oils made up of patchouli, ylang ylang, nutmeg and palmarosa so it is very rich in antioxidants. I love that it absorbs into my skin quickly without leaving any oiliness or stickiness but rather just a lovely silky feel. It can also be used on the face and hair and I know I’ll be repurchasing these again very soon.

What hair and body products are you enjoying these days? Have you tried any of the products I've mentioned here? Let me know...
