charlotte tilbury instant look in a palette, look fantastic beauty box review

Everyone else is getting into the festive spirit while I'm a little lost and feeling quite strange about the fact that the year is almost over now. Just looking at the word November is dumbfounding let alone including it in the title of today's post. Anyway enough about me. Here's a quick run-down of a few new beauty bits that have been added to my collection. As always there's a couple of beauty subscriptions and what they have in store this month. Also a cheeky purchase that wasn't at all neccessary but was completely neccessary at the same time ;)

Let's kick things off with my cheeky purchase of a new beautiful face palette. I got my hands on Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette - Natural Beauty not so long ago and have been enjoying it for very quick makeup looks that just enhance the natural features subtly. Having tried that one I was more and more curious to try Charlotte Tilbury Instant Look In A Palette - Beauty Glow as it has a few bolder shades that I think will work wonderfully on my skin tone. So of course when they ran a little promo on their site, I took advantage of it. I haven't tried it yet but I know I'm going to enjoy these rose gold and bronze tones. The bronzer still looks a tad light but I don't mind because there are enough beautiful shades here that make it worth it for me.

This month's edit is another lovely mix of skincare and makeup with a well-being product thrown in to help you glam up and recoup like a pro. I'm quite excited to give the Pixi Glow Booster a go as it reminds me of the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer that I really enjoy for a light-reflecting base under makeup. There's also a gorgeous deep liquid lipstick and a beautifully packaged teal eyeshadow that isn't to my particular taste but I know would look fabulous in the right hands (and on the right eyes). I'm happy to see a deluxe sample of the Murad Essential-C Day Moisturiser as its a brand I've not really tried but I hear so many amazing things about. And the Filorga Time-Filler is going right into my travel skincare bag. I love these mini This Works Deep Sleep Pillow Sprays and seemed to have a few collected now as they really do help when I struggle to sleep. As always you get your goodies in a stunning and sturdy box along with a complimentary copy of Elle.

You'll notice that I rarely choose any makeup products through this subscription anymore because I like to get things that I am more likely to use up quickly and products that I actually need instead. For example, I get through a lot of hand creams so I chose both Crabtree & Evelyn Gardeners Hand Therapy and The Organic Pharmacy Marigold & Comfrey Hand Cream and I am super impressed at the sizes of both of these as they will last me a while. I also got another shower gel but in a different scent - Radox Wild Peony & Lychee Body Wash. It may seem odd to choose a conditioner without a shampoo but I just couldn't resist such a generous size and the coconut scent of Yes To Coconut Ultra Moisture Conditioner. Finally I chose a couple of skincare products to try out that I wouldn't get to try out any other way: Aurelia Miracle Cleanser which I have heard some lovely things about and ESPA Overnight Hydration Therapy which will be a saviour for my dehydrated skin this winter I'm sure. I absolutely adore this subscription for the wonderful variety of products they have and the generous sizes they provide too.

Is there anything here that tickles your fancy? If you were subscribed to Latest In Beauty, would you pick mostly makeup, mostly skincare, mostly body and hair care, or a mixture of all things? I'd love to know...
