monthly beauty subscriptions october 2017

Is it me or has October just flown by? I honestly don’t know where the time goes and how it’s going by so quickly. Either way it’s been another month of beauty subscription and product testing for me. Here’s a quick run down of what’s on offer from three if the monthly beauty subscriptions I received:

You all know that my love for this subscription is true. I keep saying I will cancel it and I still keep coming back for more. I can’t help it - they have such an incredible variety of products to choose from and most of them work out to be complete steals. This month the first thing that caught my eye was the Nano Teeth Whitening Set. I’ve seen this brand on some of my favourite blogs and this little set lets you try out quite a few of the products in the line. I also picked a bath soak and body butter by Senspa which sound like they will make for a lovely pampering evening treat. Another body product I chose is the Radox Feel Free Body Wash is a full size product and scented with matcha tea and coconut. I also got myself some cute new hair ties by Kitch which have some pretty designs on them. Finally I took the chance to get another bottle of the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water. It’s my favourite micellar water that I’ve tried and a product I use almost daily to get rid of my eye makeup.

Look Fantastic Beauty Box indulge me edit review

After their amazing Birthday Box last month, it would take a lot to impress us and I feel like Look Fantastic have delivered really well. This month’s box contains everything to get you pampered properly. For me I’m most excited about the Skimono Hand Mask as we approach the colder months and the cute Ciate Wonderwand Mascara because I have this obsession with mini mascaras. There’s also a deluxe size Lancer The Method: Polish facial exfoliator and Monu Skin Facial Oil. Finally there’s a Bean Body Coffee Scrub and Model Co Highlighting Pen which looks a tad too pink and light for me though. As always you get a complimentary copy of Elle and everything comes beautifully packed in a beautifully designed sturdy box.

love me beauty review

This month there are a number of brands on offer from Love Me Beauty including a range of skincare products from the wonderful Nuxe. I’ve got the 48 hour moisturiser here and I can’t wait to use it and see if it helps my skin when it’s at its driest and most dehydrated in the winter. There are also a number of products from Jelly Pong Pong and So Susan which are both brands I don’t really know much about. It’s interesting to note that both lip crayons from each of these brands I have here are very light shades and identical, from packaging to ingredients, so they’re very clearly the same product with different brand names. On the Love Me Beauty website there’s a lot more to choose from including Kat Von D, Caudalie and EcoTools. As always everything comes neatly packaged in their little makeup pouches. You get 60 credits with which to select your products and if you use code: ummbaby20 for 20% off your first purchase.

Which of these subscriptions do you like the look of the most? Do you prefer surprise boxes or the option to select all of your own products? I’d love to know...
