top 5 soap and glory bath and body products

I've said it before, I'll say it again. I am a huge Soap & Glory fan and have been using their body products since they were launched over a decade ago. I'm sharing my Top 5 Products that I think everyone should try out, even if it's just once. These are by no means new products but these are my favourites by a mile, that I come back to time and time again. These are the ones that I've repurchased more times than I can count in most cases, and the ones I recommend to my friends and family over and over again!

I find Soap & Glory bath and body products to be reasonably priced and the best thing of course is that these products are often on sale or part of some promotion or other making them even more worthy ;)

Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Scrub

Its not just the sweet zesty summery scent of limes and brown sugar that makes this scrub a must, it is also a great way to buff away dead skin cells and revitalise dull looking rough skin. It's a luscious body scrub containing brown sugar, sea salt and macadamia grains and enriched with limes, lemons, sweet vanilla musk and almond oil to help exfoliate the skin's surface while nourishing it. As things go, my legs are definitely on the scalier side of things (TMI?) and whilst drier body scrubs might be more effective for longer, I still prefer the moisturising, gloopy texture of this. I've used this on damp skin and also dry skin and thankfully it works either way. I take a scoop, work it in circular motions over my legs and then rinse it off to reveal silky smooth skin with a lovely sheen. The only downside of course is that is smells edible but edible it is not!

Soap & Glory Clean On Me Creamy Clarifying Shower Gel

To be honest I love all their shower gels; my favourites being Sugar Crush for my daytime showers and Clean On Me for my evening showers (yes, I'm extra like that!). I've just never found another shower gel to beat theirs from how lovely they are on the skin and senses, how well they do the job to value for money because one of these bad boys will last you a good long while. This leaves my skin cleansed, softened and smoother to the touch. I find it work best with a shower pouf and only a few pumps lathers up enough to clean my whole body. Of course, as per usual, the scents are intoxicatingly pleasurable and the reason why I prefer this one for my evening showers is because it is warm and soothing, whereas Sugar Crush is zesty and invigorating.

Soap & Glory Whipped Clean Shower Butter

This is actually one of my newest favourites since I only started using it a couple of years ago. This is a shower gel and moisturiser in one, meaning you use it to cleanse your body but once you rinse it off, your skin is left with a beautiful layer of moisturising goodness and so you don't need to further moisturise. Created with sweet almond, grapeseed and macadamia nut oils and combined with shea and cocoa butter, this is a serious boost of moisture for the skin to protect your body from drying out and becoming irritated. As a busy mum for whom basic showers are often a luxury (it's a reality I've come accept - if I get a spare 5 mins, I have to choose: a power nap or a shower!) this product has been a life-changing saviour. It means I can be in and out within minutes...literally. And in the winter when my skin is especially dehydrated I love using this to layer on moisture by following this up with a body butter or oil to really seal in all those skin nourishing ingredients. And the scent I hear you ask? Top notes of yummy and delicious with a base of stirring up cravings for pudding.

Soap & Glory The Righteous Butter

This to me is the ultimate classic Soap & Glory product and if you haven't tried it already, the shock could possibly make me faint!!! This rich concoction isn't award winning and iconic for no reason. Made with skin softening shea butter and soothing aloe vera, this body butter is what I look forward to using the most when my skin is parched or feeling a little rough and bumpy. A layer of this massaged all over leaves me feeling rejuvenated and beautiful, with silky smooth skin and a gorgeous scent to go with. All their body butters are lovely, but this Original Pink is my favourite because the scent reminds me so much of my younger, carefree (ahem...children-free) days.

Soap & Glory Heel Genius

I've just checked and yup...I can link 7(!!!) previous posts in which I feature and rave about this foot cream/mask. It seems like something so simple but in the last however many years, I haven't found a foot moisturiser to rival this. This menthol scented light turquoise gel contains skin softening allantoin, moisturising macadamia oil and fruits acids to hydrate and soothe even the roughest of feet back to an acceptable level of softness. I use this after every shower as a foot cream and it just does what it does so well. It can also be used as a foot mask overnight and I love how smooth my feet feel in the morning. It's difficult for me to really describe how effective it is, but if like me you have hard heels or callouses or even rough cuticles, you really need to give this foot balm a go because it works. Period.
