march love me beauty, march look fantastic #lfbeautybox elle magazine, latest in beauty build your own box review

There are some incredible products making their way into beauty stashes all over by way of monthly subscriptions. I could never decide which monthly box/subscription was for me till a few months ago and now I can't get enough of them. Not only are they a means to get your hands on things you've probably lusted over for a long time, they are also a great way to try out things you would never have spent money on otherwise. Here are the offerings for March, what you get inside each, what you can choose and even a money-saving code for you lovely readers. Enjoy!

Look Fantastic Beauty Box* | from £13 p/m free p&p

This month Look Fantastic have joined forces with Elle Magazine and put together a highly edited box for the ultimate glamour girl. From hair to body to face, this box contains 6 products that will have you looking and feeling polished and ready to conquer the world (on in my case, survive the breakfast & school-run without looking like I just made it!).

Personally, I was most excited to see Starskin Eye Catcher because its a brand I've wanted to try for a while and I'm always looking for any undereye help I can get. There's also SkinChemists Facial Serum which I've been enjoying as part of my morning routine. Its a lightweight gel formulated with vitamin & antioxidant rich active ingredients. I'm also excited to try the new Caudalie Vine Active Moisturiser and my tresses are always in need of some extra TLC so the Redken Heatcure Treatment is a perfect addition. The one makeup product is PUR Disappearing Act Concealer - Light (see swatch here) which contains Retinol, Ceramides and Salicylic Acid. Sadly the shade is too light for me but the formula sounds impressive. Lastly you also get a shine and glow boosting tube of St.Tropez Instant Gloss.

Latest In Beauty Build Your Own Box | from £9 per month

Since signing up to Latest In Beauty, I think I've visited the site maybe a thousand more times just to see what new products they've added to the selection and for mocking up another box for myself. Except, one of those times I ended up signing up to a whole other monthly plan (insert emoji of monkey covering eyes in shame?!?). I ordered a few back-ups of things I loved last time so I'm only sharing a few of my latest selection here.

Yes, I'm mostly about trying as much skincare as possible these days while I'm attempting to cut down my makeup collection. I finally have my hands on the iconic natural cleansing sponge by The Konjac Sponge Co after being curious about it for so long. I also leaped with joy when I saw the Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peels in the mix. I have tried the Extra Strength ones before but could never bring myself to splurge on a full box of them. One of the main reasons for taking a second subscription was to ensure I could get my hands on Oskia Renaissance Mask because Dagmara - Mummy's Beauty Corner gave it a glowing review (haha! I love me some pun action!). The final skincare choice is the gorgeous Rosalena Rock & Rose Facial Oil which looks tiny but a few drops really is all you need. I'm really enjoying it so much and you get a voucher too to get you money off should you wish to order off their site. The one makeup item I chose is Eyeko Black Magic Mascara because I love mascara samples and I've never tried this. And finally I chose Amphora Aromatics Citrus Tonic candle because mumma needs some pamper time and pampering goodness.

And the products on offer this month are incredible from a wide range of skincare and makeup that I've only dreamt about trying before. And of course, every month you get a gorgeous little cosmetics pouch and this one is my favourite of all the ones so far.

I am so thrilled to get to try Perricone MD Blue Plasma Cleansing Treatment which sounds absolutely intriguing. A blue gel that cleanses, tones and exfoliates the skin with only one swipe over the face...I'm intrigued! This also contains a 15ml tube of the new Caudalie Vine Active Moisturiser alongside Caudalie Vine Active Eye Cream which I'm excited to try. There's an anti-ageing hydrogel mask from KoreBeauty and UltraSun Glimmer SPF20. I'm also glad to see some more Omorovicza in the mix too and this new Omorovicza Moor Cream Cleanser sounds amazing. Finally a lovely little sample bundle of Ellis Faas Lipstick Tubes in 4 different shades and finishes.

  2. I've never been subscribed to a beauty box, I've always been worried about what if I dislike everything I receive and I'm not really into sample sizes. I am thinking of joining the Beauty Heroes eco subscription - receiving only 1-2 products a month is quite a gamble, but they're full size I think. That Latest In Beauty looks quite promising though, I wouldn't mind trying that Oskia mask or alpha/beta pads! :)
