l'action paris uk skincare review

I always love trying new skincare products and discovering new brands. When I was contacted by L'Action Paris UK, the thing that stood out to me most is the idea of convenient products that are quick to use. You can imagine, in my busy day running around after my little ones, this was music to my ears. I've had a long while to play with these goodies and I'm happy to be sharing my thoughts on them as I know there's something here for everyone to enjoy.

L'Action Paris UK have really identified the need for more compact products for busy lifestyles and those who are constantly on the go. These little tubes contain different treatments for the face that can be easily carried in handbags, applied without much theatre and perfectly sized for taking abroad too.

Among their most popular products is the L'Action Paris Lip Enhancer* | £8.99 which is a glossy lip plumping concoction that works to fill up the small lines I have on my lips. This isn't a plumping product that will give you dramatic 'did she get lip fillers?' kind of results, but rather a perfect little treatment to give the illusion of more youthful, fuller lips. I love applying this to my lips before I do my face makeup so it has enough time to work before I apply a liquid lipstick. It also looks great layered on top of lipstick too.

Another lip product I'm loving is L'Action Paris Soft Lip Scrub* | £8.99 which is a dinky little twist-up pen that contains an exfoliating lip butter and is released through a buffing cushion tip. As I have dry lips, I rely on this to really prep my lips and get rid of all the dryness and flaking before applying lipstick. I love how compact the packaging is, and the likes of Rodial have a very similar product to this, so hello bargain! This is very effective, moisturising, softening and leaves a lovely glossy sheen on the lips too.

Moving on to face products, and I have been trying out 2 roller ball products meant for very similar purposes. Although I haven't had much luck with L'Action Paris Lightening Gel* | £8.99, which claims to even out skin tone and fade dark marks, L'Action Paris Scar Reducing Oil* | £8.99 has been highly effective at fading marks left by breakouts and blemishes. Made from rosa canina fruit oil - or rosehip oil, this roller ball has quickly become my post-blemish best friend. This hasn't helped much with genetic pigmentation issues of course, but is meant to help with skin cell renewal with prolonged use.

As I expected, L'Action Paris Pore Reducing Cream* | £9.99 doesn't do much for reducing the appearance of my enlarged pores, but what it is great for is mattifying my skin and creating a smooth, soft base before I apply makeup. It is for this reason this has been one of my favourite primers of late. It has a very strong fragrance though, which isn't to my personal liking but thankfully it doesn't last too long on my face. It comes with a pump too which is always a plus in my books.

l'action paris uk masks sheet masks patches mud masks review

There is a lovely selection of masks available including a wide variety of mud masks, sheet masks and patches for targetted skin concerns. There is also a selection of 'Make Your Own Masks' which is quite exciting and makes for a fun pampering experience.

My favourite of the ones I've tried is the L'Action Paris Charcoal Sebum Patches* | £3.99, which are individually wrapped adhesive strips that contain charcoal, rhassoul and witch hazel extract and literally unclog my nose pores like no other patch I've tried. They have a lovely pleasant scent and once removed, my nose looks brighter, feels smoother and all the impurities are removed. I know I will be purchasing these for a long time to come.

A cheap and cheerful option is the L'Action Paris Mud Masks | £1, which would be great for a girly night in pampering and relaxing. The only thing to be aware of is that these do contain mineral oil and if you are prone to congestion or breaking out then you might want to avoid these.

Instead you could opt for the L'Action Paris Spa Masks which are made in Korea (I just find that really reassuring!). L'Action Paris Aloe Vera Hydrating Spa Mask* | £2.99 is a soaked sheet mask which is incredibly hydrating and soothing on the skin. This would be great for those with sensitive skin who need a moisture boost. I wish the L'Action Paris Tired & Puffy Eyes Reducer Mask* | £2.99 was a little more saturated for my dehydrated skin to enjoy the cooling and relaxing sensations a lot more. Otherwise this is a nice way to de-stress after a long day or prepare for a special occasion.
