makeup ive repurchased including bobbi brown, soap and glory, nuxe, kiko and bourjois

This is Part 2 of 2 discussing products that I've repurchased. As I said last time, there is no greater testimony of how great a product is or how much one loves using it than it being repurchased to be enjoyed all over again! In Part 1 I discussed my Skin & Body repurchases and today we are talking all about makeup reruns! :)

MAKEUP

I'm going to start with Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base £39, which is a deliciously luxurious face cream with a light fruity scent, that plumps up the face like nothing else I've ever used. The reason why I've included this in my Makeup Reruns is because I usually use this as my face primer when there's a special occasion or as my base when I'm looking to wear very little makeup at all. It gives my face a healthy, dewy finish and is such a treat to use.

Although not technically makeup, I've included a lip balm because there's no way I apply makeup without applying lip balm first. Nuxe Reve De Miel LipBalm £9.50 is one of those balms that we saw being brandished by every 'beauty guru' the world could churn out a couple of years ago. Annoyingly and thankfully, it lives up to all the hype by my books. Now onto my 3rd pot I am still in love with this thick, matte balm that acts as a lip mask and stops my lips from getting dry or chapped throughout the day.

Onto actual makeup products and I know I keep mentioning this lipstick over and over again but Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Lipstick Satin - Naked Beige £9 is my perfect lipstick. It's creamy, pigmented and the shade is as close to my natural lips as I will get. It is the only lipstick I have ever used up completely and with good reason. When I don't know what lipstick to wear, I can reach for this and it works. If I am feeling down, a quick coat of this and I instantly feel better.

The makeup product that I have repurchased the most times is Maybelline The Eraser Eye Concealer £7.99 which I use in the shade Nude. I have of course included this in my Top 10 Under £10 because it is so good at its job. It conceals and brightens and is easy to blend. I haven't come across any other concealer that could replace this in my eyes and I will continue to repurchase it without a doubt.

There are 2 powders I have repurchased in my life and funnily enough they are both very similar in their formula and overall performance. Bobbi Brown Sheer Finish Pressed Powder £26 is finely milled and gives the face a flawless finish and eliminates any shine. It was the first ever face powder I ever used and in those younger days, I used to leave my house with no other base product on my face!!! Of course back then I entertained the obsession but growing up has opened my eyes to the benefits of having other options. Enter Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder £8.99 - as finely milled a powder as I've ever come across, this little red compact quickly became my best friend and made it onto my favourites last year because it does every thing the Bobbi Brown powder does, but just slightly better. Maybe its because it is only a 1/3 of the price or maybe it's because it really is a better product. Either way I see myself happily repurchasing this powder before the other for a long time to come.

Surprise, surprise. There's another Soap & Glory product on the list. Soap & Glory Smoulder Kohl £5 is a soft, pigmented and waterproof eye pencil that I seem to prefer over the plethora of liners I've collected over the years. It comes with a built-in sharpener too which is convenient and doesn't smudge on me (especially the brown shade) as much as other liners.

Finally, I have a recent rerun that is a little premature but from the moment that I first used this, I knew I needed a back-up of this in my stash. My sister was kind enough to make sure I had another tube of this quickly and I'm so glad because it is beautiful. KIKO Intensely Lavish Lipstick - 01 Lusty Peony £6.90 is that classic shade that I seem to go for which you can see swatched on my post featuring my Top 5 Pink Lipsticks. Colour aside, the formula is as creamy and pigmented as you'd like.

Thus concludes my list of recent Beauty Reruns. If you haven't already you can read Part 1 here. I hope you enjoyed both posts. If you have also repurchased any of these beauty products please let me know which ones and why. What makeup have you repurchased and do you recommend to everyone?
