Makeup flatlay of Kiko Cosmetics Limited Edition Rebel Romantic items

I just have this thing about KIKO and their limited edition collections always get me wanting to buy the things I love in the dozens before they move on and release another array of stunners. LOL! This collection does not fail to impress me and in fact, I'd say this collection ticks all the boxes for the general taste right now. Rose gold packaging, check. Nude pinks, mauves and berry shades, check. Contouring kit, check. Downton-esque style lettering, check. It has been said this collection is rather unremarkable and mismatched but to me, it's perfect!

KIKO Rebel Romantic Contouring Pencils - 02 Medium to Dark £9.90

I seem to be on some mission to try all sorts of affordable contouring kits so of course I had to give this one a whirl. I don't have any contouring pens/crayons/creams in my collection either so I am excited about this. Both pencils are jumbo and in twist-up style. The formula is creamy and they blend well. I've yet to use them on my face to see how they will compare to my usual powder contour kits to apply and the overall effect. But I am optimistic!

KIKO Rebel Bouncy Blush - 02 Adorable Pink £9.90

This blush comes in 4 different shades, each one more beautiful than the other, and refreshingly I would say 3 of them would be absolutely stunning on darker skin tones. I don't think I need to mention how beautiful this rose gold, mirrored compact is but what I do wish to state is the texture of this blusher is unique to me. I would call it a cream blusher, though the brand claim this is a "lightweight powder...a new consistency that's extra soft, supple..." and I have to say it is very singular. It feels bouncy, as per the name, to the touch, is highly pigmented and blends in effortlessly.

I've used this with a Real Techniques Stippling Brush, the head of which conveniently fits right into this, and find the finish to be beautifully even and between a satin and a matte blush. I have every intention of picking up 01 Velvety Peach for a more natural flush look too.

It's not a secret that I adore KIKO lip products and these do not fail to live up to the quality of the permanent line. I went for the 2 most popular shades, because they are the colours I usually go for. The packaging feels so luxe with a great weight to it, and has the most incredible magnetic closure lid that snaps shut with a satisfying clink.

They have a beautifully light texture that isn't drying or tugging or overly slippery on the lips and you can easily forget that you're wearing anything because they're so comfortable. The colour pay-off is fantastic and last a good few hours. The formula reminds me of MAC Satin Lipsticks as they are comfortable to wear with a matte feel and a satin finish.

01 Lusty Peony is a beautiful pink that brightens my complexion and 02 Pretty Mauve is one of those shades that could be 'My Lips But Better'. The lip pencils are meant to match their corresponding lipsticks but I find the Lusty Peony Lip Pencil is slightly deeper than the lipstick. Still, the lip pencil is very comfortable to wear, highly pigmented & glides on smoothly.

I love every single item I picked up. The colours are perfect, the quality is sublime and of course the packaging is just dreamy. I am hoping to pick up a few more bits soon, including a handful more of these same lipsticks just because I don't ever want to be without them...ever! If you haven't already, I would highly recommend checking out this line. They would make such cute gifts.

(Teaser: I also picked up one item from KIKO's other Limited Edition collection - Midnight Siren - and will be posting a seperate post & review of this soon.)

Let me know if you see anything here that catches your eye or if you have already indulged because I am obviously quite late on this one. Feel free to comment, tweet me or come say hi on my Instagram.
